Last updated 1 October 2026. These are the terms for Castellar's early-access playtest. By downloading or playing the game you agree to them.

It's early access

Castellar is unfinished. Rules, cards, balance and features can change at any time, and matches, records or accounts may be reset while we work on it. The server can be down, slow or updated without notice, and an update can require you to download a new version.

No warranty

The game is free and provided "as is", without any warranty. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using it.

Play fair

• Don't cheat: no modified clients, bots, exploits of bugs, or automated play.
• Don't attack, overload or probe the server, or try to reach other players' accounts.
• Don't harass, threaten or abuse other players, and keep your display name clean.
• Don't play both sides of a match from two accounts to boost a record.

If you find a bug that gives an unfair edge, please tell us instead of using it.

Accounts

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe. We may suspend, reset or delete accounts that break these terms, and we may rename a display name that is offensive. We can also end the playtest at any time.

The game is ours

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to download and play the game. Please don't sell or redistribute the builds; share the link to this site instead.

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and playing after that means you accept the new version.
